Headley Does Bond
The residents of Headley village in Hampshire celebrated everything Bond last night when they donned their best 007 themed outfits to attend the “Headley Does Bond” dinner dance. The evening was put together by a committed team of local volunteers to raise much needed funds for vital A-T related medical research.
The evening was staged at Headley Village Hall and attendees took part in a silent auction, raffle and pudding auction which raised in excess of £10,000 for Action for A-T. This would not have been possible without the help and support of our amazing volunteer committee (Susie Shillingford, Emily Read, Helen Barran, Katy Abrahams, Beth Goodwin, Kris Irving, Tom and Estelle Benson) and our incredible compere and auctioneer, Johnny Barran. Everyone at Action for A-T would like to thank them all for all of their incredible efforts.
“Its amazing what people can do when they engage with their local community” said Action for A-T chairman Toby Read. “Take a small Hampshire Village, lots of hard work by our tireless team of volunteers and we raise £10,000 and have a great time doing it!”
