New Collaborative Funding Partnership between Action for A-T, BrAshA-T Ataxia Telangiectasia and AEFAT

Along with all the members of the A-T Alliance, Action for A-T strongly believes that there are many opportunities to further the search for a treatment or cure for A-T through working with other like-minded organisations that have overlapping aims or objectives.

Over the years, we have invested in a variety of projects which has significantly increased the amount of A-T research taking place, but there is only so much we can achieve with our limited funding capabilities. To this aim, we actively seek out collaborative funding partners to help speed up the process of finding a therapy or cure for A-T.

We are delighted to announce our latest partnership with BrAshA-T, Australia and AEFAT, Spain. Through working together, we all believe more can be achieved to help develop treatments and work towards a cure for A-T.

The three charities will join forces to jointly fund five new research studies with a combined cost of £1.3 million. The projects are based in the UK, Netherlands and USA and will all begin the coming weeks. Details of each project will be released via social media and via the research section of our website in due course.
