2024 St Martin’s School Trailblazer Walk
Sign up and join the Junior Trailblazers this summer as they aim to walk 25 km from Leith Hill to St Martins on Saturday 15th June 2024. It should take 7-8 hours and is purposefully set to be a challenge but achievable for all year 6 kids. The kids will be accompanied by a smaller number of parent/guardian & guides throughout. And there is no need to accompany each child.
Pit stops will be planned every 5km or so to refill water bottles, load up on Haribo, have lunch and other snacks, so kids don’t have to carry supplies for the full day. We need parent volunteers, and ideally volunteer Year 6 kids who aren’t keen on walking, to support these stops and to provide encouragement.

This is a great opportunity for the kids to bond through raising money for charity and leaving a legacy at St Martin’s School before leaving for their next adventure.

Fully guided training walks are planned in the lead up to the day, we would encourage everyone to join in as many times as possible.
