Our grant round is now open.
Action for A-T is seeking innovative research proposals aimed at identifying and repurposing existing approved compounds for the treatment of Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T). By leveraging the safety and efficacy data already available for approved drugs, we hope to accelerate the discovery of potential therapies that can be rapidly translated into clinical benefit for individuals living with A-T. We welcome applications from researchers across disciplines who are exploring novel uses of known compounds, particularly those with mechanisms that may address the neurodegeneration, immune dysfunction, or DNA repair deficiencies characteristic of A-T. This call represents an opportunity to make meaningful progress toward effective treatments for this devastating condition.
Guidance for Applicants:
Applications are invited for project grants, up to 4 years in duration, for a maximum award of £750,000 (to cover salaries, consumables, and essential equipment).
