COLLEGE OF EXPERTS (COE)
Action for A-T’s College of Experts (COE) volunteer their time to provide independent advice in ensuring that we invest our funds as wisely as possible and in line with the charity’s mission. They make recommendations on what research the charity should fund.
The COE is formed of independent scientific and clinical experts from areas of A-T research and related fields from a wide range of research areas and institutions. A-T is a multi-system condition and therefore the COE has broad membership. There are also lay experts on the COE who have direct experience of living with A-T. They bring a valuable and unique perspective over what research should be funded. For more information about the role of our COE members, please see the terms of reference.
